I’m Biku. I created this website on September 17, 2023 as an all-in-one hub for my work and overall personal comfort place.
Using multiple social media platforms scattered across the web would make finding my work difficult and I didn’t want to deal with the strict rules, unpredictable algorithm, and harsh judgement of the people who use them. However, I do use some social medias for personal use, such as YouTube without a channel, Discord for online friends, and a few other miscellaneous platforms I don’t use frequently.
The theme of this website is akin to children’s TV channels from the 2000s like Noggin, Nick Jr., PBS Kids, and Playhouse Disney and websites like ABCya! and McWorld. In fact, this website’s logo is heavily based on Noggin’s. I wanted this website to almost feel like an actual children’s website which is why branding is presented that way. The name “TakeThatMom!” is a phrase I hope to say to my actual mom, who doubts I could make it in life and doesn’t know I have plans.
This website doesn’t get updated very often, but I make sure to keep it alive by planning new content and improving it technically for both myself and you. I don’t have a lot of motivation to work on this site, but when I do, I feel refreshed.
